Carla Róisín Behal collaborates with scenographer and visual artist Felipe González Cabezas. The focus lies on the search for the meeting point between both disciplines: visual elements, and their relationship with the presence and the performer.
Inspired by the works of Borremans, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Paramnesia sets out on a course in which minimalist classical mime and the vibrant universe of a typical 17th century tableau unveil some of the violent truths stored deep within a human psyche. “My memory of what happened is not what happened.” John Cage.
